特に議論もなくmergeしてるけど仕様変更じゃないのか。元々そういう意図だったけどそうはなっていなかったバグだということなのか。

配送業者のサ−ビスであらかじめアカウント登録して住所を入力しておくと、所定の操作でランダムな十数桁くらいの数字が出てきてそれを相手に渡す。渡された方はその配送業者で宛先をその数字にすると普通に届く、みたいなやつあれば個人間のやりとりがやりやすいと思った。
