Side note: While Mastodon 2.5.0 is out and ready, the relay software is still very immature and in need of further development.

If you decide to run it yourself, be aware there's a memory leak in the worker binary so it's best restarted every few hours.

It's written in Crystal because we wanted to squeeze max performance out of it but currently it's nowhere near max performance.
