wswidth(3)はロケールで判断するだろうからwcwidth(3)よりわずかにマシ程度の結果しか出せなくて、フォント情報を持っている端末に訊くエスケープシーケンスでないと良くならない。あと、これがあるとうれしいのはむしろアラビア文字を含むCTL書記系圏で、この辺の理解は日本語圏も弱い
