屋根を白く塗るとちゃんと冷える
ロンドンで実施された大規模介入実験。反射性ホワイト塗料で塗った屋根はその建物だけでなく、周囲の気温上昇をも抑える効果がある。

屋上緑化は白く塗るより直接的な効果は低いけど、日射量のピークが過ぎてから（温まった建物が熱放散して15時くらいに気温が上がるやつ）に効果が出るらしい
